<b>My group has decided to work on suggestion 2a) to analysis the data sheet that was consolidated by Ms Loh . Each of us was assigned to be in charge of a zone but our group leader took on the responsibility of two zones . Each of us has to do the statistical analysis , inference and conclusions of the bus services in the zones we were in charged of . We would help one another when our group members face challenges or problems in the process of generating the information to be put in the poster . We planned the poster together by some discussion of ideas and keeping note of the tips in the presentation slides on the Maths Performance Task Gogglesite . We had sketch out the layout of the poster on paper . </b><br />

<b>Our group co-operates and decides on the details as fast as possible . Every member of our team contributes significantly to this project by playing their part in working on the zones to create results for our poster. We are on task. </b><br />

<b>I am in-charged of the statistical analysis of the North zone. I had to analysis the data and skim out the ideal bus services to analyze . After this , I had to plot graphs based on the data accompanying the bus services. I had used the statistical process to help me better analyze the data to be able to draw some statistical analysis , inferences and conclusions for the graphs . </b><br />

<b>I was challenged by the requirement to analysis and draw inferences from the data I had to focus on. I was totally at struck at drawing inferences from the strings of numbers and graphs. We found that many of the data of the bus services were invalid for use as they are not accurate . The frequency of the buses in the bus service and the quantity of buses in all the categories of the wait time of the buses does not add up to the same frequency. </b><br />

<u><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue;">The smaller picture above looks more similar to the real drain cover in SST. The drains with gigantic gaps in the covers can be found across a small part of the pathway to the back door , along the top of the steps led to the canteen. People with foots of small surface area encounters a very serious consequence when stepping on the drain. When I first came to SST, I came in through the back door and stepped right on the drain with the middle of my foot placing on one of the metal line in the drain cover. At that time, I was wearing slippers . I lost my balance and almost sprain my foot. Luckily I stood on the solid ground with my left foot to support me. People who share the characteristics as mine foot would most likely encounter this problem.</span></i></u><br />

We are discussing as a class on the items that we were to get for the hamper.We have bought decorations and the food with the class funds. After buying the items, same of our classmates work together to wrap up the hamper. We have prepared a hamper and submitted it to be presented it as a gift for the elderly.<br />

How do we think that we are affecting the recipients of the hamper? What will be different for them?<br />

The recipients will be touched that someone remember and are concern about them. They will know that they are not alone and many still understand them. They will feel much more happier and excited to receive gifts of care . They sense that there are people who want to share the joy and festive atmosphere with them.They have more supplies for their needs and they would be more positive .<br />

What could be our next stop to care for this group of recipients.<br />
Follow them along to an trips to some places of attraction to company them . I was glad that I did not fall from the element.I was rather afraid of heights and I have never looked down from a great height just standing on a cable hooked on ropes .<br />

The second highlight was the wonderful performance put up by our class. I did not expect the skit to go so well as we did not prepare a script and rehearsal.The last highlight of all is to get to know my new classmates of 2011.<br />

There some low moments during the orientation and the last two weeks, one of it was during camp when i did not challenge the rock wall which i really wanted to because of its level of difficulty.The other low moment was<br />

I learnt that everybody has its own strength and weakness. The greatest takeaway from the orientation was realizing that I have got over my fear of heights. Another takeaway I had from the orientation camp was to lead the class into doing a assignment.<br />

I learnt that by taking a bold step forward you will never guess the outcome.I surprised myself by proving to me that I could overcome my fears and it is possible. I have learnt the SST cheers and batch dance at the hall, taught by the wonderful PSLs.<br />

After the interesting lessons of SST cheers and dance, Ms Lim had begun to guide us into the discussion of the 3'R's. After sharing our ideas and definitions with the class.Together with Nina, Yi Chieh and Wei Siew, we form a group to complete the activity. We have to pen our ideas on a large sheet of paper and choose the best one that represents us.<br />
<br />
After lunch, there was a briefing about the orientation camp on 6th Jan to 8th Jan 2011. At about 2:30 p.m. , We got started on the Day 1 Mac Attack 1 Activities. Ms Lim shared with us the ground rules and the review of the things we had discussed today. We started of with the first activity- a self introduction of myself . I finished my self introduction within minutes to spare. Ms Lim ended the day and told us our homework<br />

------ I have learnt that a secondary student has to adapt to being a responsible person, the important roles to play at school and the rights that I have . Being a cyber citizen, I have to know my limits and control myself . <br />
<br />
------- I am curious about the different and interesting way of learning in SST. I am also interested in applied subjects like media and bio-technology as these subjects are not comman in secondary schools.<br />

------- I hope to achieve for SST and represent the school in competitions.<br />
